受疫情影響,幼稚園在停止面授課堂期間,需要運用其他模式讓兒童在家中學習。我們慶幸幼稚園業界擁有投入及專業的團隊,即使面對前所未有的衝擊和挑戰,仍然保持積極樂觀的心態,彼此扶持。大家憑着對幼兒教育的熱忱,發揮無限創意,設計富趣味的學習活動,並協同家長的力量,幫助兒童維持學習興趣和促進身心發展。

Integrated Programme in Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre

Children with special educational needs are referred to school by the Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department.

To provide individualized educational plans for each child according to their individual needs, so that they can integrate into the mainstream education.

(This programme shares the same schedule and fees as the Nursery.)

On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services (OPRS)

Our school has participated in the “On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services Scheme”.

Inter-disciplinary service teams will provide on-site services for pre-school children with mild specisl needs.  We trust that through early intervention, and the use of diversified strategfies could enable children to realize their potentail.

Children with special educational needs are referred to school by the Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department.

Support to non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students

Non-Chinese-speaking children may encounter challenges in daily communication and language learning,

and there will also be diversity in daily life knowledge and habits. With appropriate class and grouping

arrangement, the school promotes and encourages interaction with peers to create an integrated and

supportive school life.

Adaptation to Primary School

Children need to adapt to a new environment as they enroll into primary school, and there are great changes in the school environment, learning content, teachers and classmates.  In order for children to adapt to primary school life as soon as possible, the cooperation between parents and the school is very important.

 

A series of games and activities designed to help K3 students get better understand with the daily life and teaching and learning modes that they will experience when entry the primary school.

Freshman adaptation

The school works with the parents to help children start their school life happily and confidently.

An adaptation play day for freshmen is held before the start of the school year, and parents are invited to accompany and participate in the school.

An “Adaptation Period” will be arranged according to the children’s adaptability to help children gradually adapt to campus life.
